TG #35: Quantum Gravity
December 1, 2009 – 5:00 amThis week’s Tweak and Geek has Craig, Pat, and Mike exploring new evidence about the intricacies of quantum gravity. Whoa, that’s heavy! HA HA HA! Oh, and we cover lame news, too.

Gravity?
A theory of quantum gravity may have been disproved by a recently-observed exploding star. This is cool, because it means that there may be a single Grand Unified Theory that links electromagnetism, strong and weak nuclear forces, and gravity into one set of science.
Lame News
Craig-Asteroid 2009VA came within 2 earth radii on 11/6. Nasa only noticed it 15 hours prior. Scary because they’re noticing them so late in the game. This was a 7 meter asteroid, which would have wiped out all orphans on the planet.
Pat- Massachusetts high school bans the word Meep!
Mike- Researchers create artificial penises for rabbits! Said rabbits then proceeded to mate like themselves.

say wha????
This was way over my head. Except for the rabbits. That was just disturbing.
